    Well said!

I remember quite well the remarks left for the creators of Southpark. It’s infuriating to see so many who claim to be Muslim take up arms that their faith is being attacked because of artistic depictions of someone is has been dead for quite some time. This only shows the maturity and strength of the Muslim faith. To scream that I’ll burn in hell for drawing a picture? Damn, well if thats the case I’m gonna go eat some cake, drink a beer, and go watch my 42 inch tv!

  3. Scott says:

Awesome blog so far, keep up the good work. As for the threats from the muslims who don’t like the drawings, I would draw them a pic of Mohamet fucking a donkey, bet they’ll love that, I wish MTV would have aired that episode of SouthPark, i would have loved to have seen it.

Kudos and keep up the good work.

    • Jakie says:

does that me i can draw jesus fucking a donkey too?

      • Felix says:

Damn right it does, Jackie. You can absolutely draw a picture of Jesus H. Christ pounding the ever-loving SHIT out of a donkey’s bunghole. You can then take that picture and post it high and low and everywhere you possibly can. And lucky for you, no one will try to kill you for doing so. If only those people who post a picture of Mohammed(pbuh) would be so fortunate.

      • Anti-semetic, anyone? says:

You should remind people of the ruckus Prince Harry got into for dressing up as a Nazi. There just are some things that are untouchable, and some things that are blasphemed, and some things that could piss someone off. If someone chooses to deliberately mock some gang biker’s mother in the name of freedom of speech, I despise him and have no pity on his stupidity. I don’t see why we can’t let bygones be bygones and whoever stirs up the fight should be put down

    • nen says:

really?..u people r nonsense..u kep on insulting prophet muhammad will i wish u luck..u think u can change muslim faith and belief to our religion and to our prophet then il tel u, you’ will not succeed..

thus it bust your ego? only shows ur immaturity..

How do you draw an asshole?

    • texangadget says:

Are you asking how to do a self portrait, or how to draw portraits of thin-skinned, islamo-fascists who criticize and will not tolerate any other religion, yet will not tolerate any criticism of their own? Seems a bit hypocritical, don’t you think?

  6. Syaz says:

Its funny that you state that you are aiming for the freedom of speech and yet among all of those topics out there, you just need to call yourself “everybodydrawmohammedday”. Whats up with that? Why dont you bring your awareness for freedom of speech by questioning what is USA doing by being the sole power and order in this world? Why arent u questioning with what had the Jews been planning, which is to eradicate all of the non-Jews? Why dont u question all the secret facilities USA had to torture each innocent humans who are against em. I’m against you because you are being biased. If only you question as much “unfairness” that the world had been facing, then I wont be against you as much. Religion itself is freedom. We have the freedom to choose our own religion. Your efforts in denigrating our religion pretty much is against your own concept which is freedom.

Let me tell you something. There are a few types of humans in this world be it in any religion. Lets use Christians for examples, some Christians pretty much dont care about their own religion much less know anything about it, some Christians are really religious and are really respectable, some Christians are really TOO religious to the point of being an extremist, some Christians’s Fathers go around raping underage boys, some Christians are the not really religious but pretty much respectable as well. There are all kinds of people in this world. Same goes to Islam. Some are bad, some are good, some are extremists, some are so-so, some are only working for peace and only want to live in peace. There are always some bad apples. Its sad that the world is only looking at Islam as extremists. Even now, the latest news said that the bombing of the trade centre is pretty much by the work of Jews and USA itself. Why are you still closing your eyes when you call yourself free? Open up.

When the Muslims are pretty much terrorized (in Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine) and tortured, pressured, most of them starts to become the Muslims who could only hate and are extremists. Who created them? If not those ‘people’ who pressured and terrorized them so much. It is YOU, my friend, who give birth to the next extremists who goes around saying they are fighting for Islam. Think. You have a brain. Learn how human’s think. Imagine being in their shoes.

Deprived of their own homeland, food, shelter, called extremists, couldnt apply for work, walk at the street and being thrown stones by kids, for the girls wearing hijabs, some had their hijabs teared and raped. They are the innocent Muslims who really had done nothing but just wanted to live, just like YOU. What kind of human would YOU be. If YOU were treated that way.

Learn psychology. Do not just bark without knowing the consequences. If you are the father who had taken care of your daughter for the past 20 years and she is raped so horribly till she commited suicide or is depressed to the point of being a zombie, what would YOU do? What you are doing now is only bringing more hatred, more extremism, more pain……more terrors…in this world.. Stop the hatred. Had we lost the humanity in this world? Remember Mother Teresa? Had you forgotten what she had been teaching us?

    • Amused says:

You are a short sighted blathering fool. I don’t condone rape or any of the other assaults on human kind that you incoherently drone on about, and I doubt many others do too. We are talking about people who threaten to kill others over a cartoon. You are free to stand up and shout blasphemy all you want, but you are not free to espouse violence against another human because they made fun of your mythical beliefs. Is the faith in your beliefs so weak a cartoon would cause you to riot? In this day and age with all we know it is very sad that some people still choose to believe in this mythical nonsense and would choose dogma over reason and logic.

      • Question Freely says:

While I agree with the right to speech and that the violent threats were wrong, this individual has as much right to his beliefs as you do. He is not making threats, though he has several factually incorrect portions, and did nothing to justify your attack on what you espouse as “mythical dogma” and while you may find it sad a vast MAJORITY of people believe in one or another of these dogmas. You go too far.

    • texangadget says:

You are just like the rest of the muslims who aim to rid the world of the rest of us, by force if necessary. You are not a religion of peace. You are a religion of fear, intimidation, and oppression. While you are in the minority (as you currently are in the U.S.) you play the victim, scream that your are being oppressed, and that the rest of us are intolerant if we so much as ask a question about you or the government/religion under which you live. In your homelands, and/or in lands that muslims have conquered, it is you who are intolerant. You demand conversion to islam, force non-muslims from their lands, or kill them. In America you are allowed to freely practice your religion, short of murdering our citizens. In your homelands, I am not allowed to practice my religion, or even speak of it in many cases, lest I risk imprisonment or even death. In America women have freedom to do pretty much whatever they wish. Even muslim women as evidenced by the muslim woman who just won the Miss USA pageant. In muslim countries women are like cattle. The can’t leave the home without their husband, they must remain clothed from head to toe including their faces in many muslim countries. They can’t drive cars, or do just about anything they can do in America. If the young lady who won the Miss USA pageant were to dress as she did in the pageant while she were in a muslim nation, she would likely be stoned to death as a whore. Is that equality? Is that tolerance?

Then you have the unmitigated gall to say that the Jews and America bombed the World Trade Center. Sir, you are a deceived, brainwashed fool. I pray for your introduction to Jesus Christ, and salvation by His free gift to you.

Tell me, Sir, what you believe to be the muslim “homeland.” Using your revisionist history, I’m sure you will name many lands that had never been touched my islam until they were conquered by muslim aggression. Israel is a perfect example. You claim that the Palestinians have the historical right to Jerusalem and Israeli. Bull crap. Jews called Israel and Jerusalem home 3,000 years before Mohammed made up the religion of islam. Historically speaking, islam has no claim to any land that wasn’t already occupied by someone else. Islam is a cancer that has spread by the sword to most corners of the world. Everywhere in the world there is violence, warfare, and suffering, you will find muslims at the heart of the violence. You are incompatible with the rest of the world.

Don’t dare try to quote Christian icons like Mother Theresa in an attempt to justify your twisted form of oppression, hate, and conquest. If you are here in America, and you can’t appreciate the freedom you have without trying to take away mine, then feel free to crawl back to whatever hell hole you came from, and please tuck one of your little sheet-head friends under each arm and drag them with you.

    • Dangomushi says:

People DO exercise their freedom to speak in several areas. I’ve used my own freedom to speak out against the government of the United States many times! I’ve also spoken out against the oppression of Palestinians by Israel! I’ve also drawn blasphemous cartoons mocking Christianity and Jesus Christ!

The issue at hand right now is that people have been physically assaulted and killed over drawings on paper. These assaults on free speech reverberate around the world and make people like myself (who likely wouldn’t have ever drawn Mohammed before) want to take up a pen in protest!

Freedom goes both ways. Of course you have a right to choose your own religion, but everyone else should have the right to criticize that religion the same way we have a right to criticize a political party or any other organization or person of authority.

Also, I’d recheck your facts on the WTO attacks. Latching onto conspiracy theories really cuts down on your credibility. It also ignores all the very blatant violence and terrorism from Muslim extremists that can’t be simply conspiracy-theoried away!

    • david says:

You have a point to some degree in your comments, but… they are soaked by HATE towards Jews as people and USA as a country! As well, you are right in saying that among any ethnic group there are a good and bad. But in today’s world ONLY Muslims do killing for the sake of killing. I agree that Muslims, and specially Arabs suffer the most out of that, but… Islam is so backward and too afraid to face the truth so I am doubt that anything will change in near future for better. On opposite, I think that we are heading to a mutual destruction (Islam and Christianity)

    • Human says:

Why should drawing pictures/cartoons of Muhammad be linked to everything that is wrong in the world? Saying that before drawing the cartoons the world should first correct Iraq, Afghanistan, pakistan, USA superpower etc. etc. is like saying do’nt stop me from threatening other people since there are bigger crooks / terrorists out there. You are delusional……all terrorists regardless of how small or bi they are have to be stopped. You are just denying the sad fact that drawing simple cartoons of a man dead for 1400 years can still arouse muslims to kill. After all the man was prophet for muslims NOT the Christians, Jews, Atheists, Buddhists etc. Why should others be forced to show respect to YOUR prophet. Anyone is fundamentally entitled to his opinions no matter how distasteful the ideas may be to a billion people. You are free to ignotre the offensive ideas but you do not have the moral authority to act as thought police. Threatening them with death is like shooting yourself in the foot.
Drawing cartoons of prophet is NOT wrong. I fully support this idea of catooning everything that is sacred and holy because that is the only way people will be free of Dogma and silly outdated thinking.

    • Syaz says:

I do not hate USA. After all not all people in USA are the bad apples. Anyway, Amused, I myself do not condone killing over cartoons either. And if you would check the facebook page of the drawmuhammedday, you would find a lot of images which are more to “hate drawing” instead of “freedom drawing”.

All Im asking is to stop the hatred. They are now spreading the Muslim’s prophet depicted pictures with associations to sexual maniac or bombings. Actually, when they associate the Muslim’s prophet with such meanings such as bombings, terrorism and sex are what I cant condone. Do not associate Islam with terrorism. I am not a terrorist. But I for sure am treated like one, simply because of what the other Muslim who were terrorized did. Try to be in their positions. Every serial killers have a history. Either they were abused and terrorized in their childhood or other unspeakable reasons. I am not saying what they did was right. All Im asking is if you want to dispute against them, do not associate Islam with it. Because Islam is a religion of peace.

In Islam we do not condone free murders or terrorism and such. We do not impose our religion to you. And if you say you do meet some of the Muslims which did, please know that it is not in our religion to force you to believe in our god. You had just met some bad apples. Like when I met another human who screams and throw stones at me because I am Muslim. For me, I do not blame other religions or races for what had that guy done. I blame him individually for not giving justice to me, a normal teenager who just want to attend school.

Again, all Im stressing is that do not view us as terrorists. We arent. There are as much as terrorism in other countries as well. You might say right now Islam is the worst terrorist. But do you understand their suffering in their homeland? It saddens me. Seeing humans pitted against each other. Hatred and violence just give more hatred and violence. Killing is never a proper way to end a feud.

Most importantly why are you addressing me as if I was the one who killed the cartoonist or were involved in the 9/11 tragedy? Can you see? Your hatred now…is not only pointing to the assailant but to me as well and most probably to other Muslims you see. Who is not at all involved in any of the unspeakable acts. In fact, you are currently now am pointing your hatred to a 19 year old girl. Like when they pointed their hatred towards my little sister. Is that what you condone? Because you are indirectly supporting the acts. When you associates us with terrorism. Others, even the smaller kids thinks us as terrorist.

They mock my sister, throw stones at her, bully her…and when I demanded an explanation why. All they said was “My dad said it. You all are terrorist! Go away from our country!! You deserve to die!”.
And whats worst? The children who said that was around 7-10 years old. Even a 5 year old were involved. Now you are the short-sighted one. Don’t you see..all that you are doing is promoting hatred..for years and years to come.. And all I to live practising my religion peacefully..and YES, I NEVER, I repeat NEVER did cause a riot, denigrate other religions, much less killing.

      • david says:

It is sad to what is happening to your sister. There are a “bad apples” in any country, unfortunately.
May I ask you a question, you wrote, and in many Islamic publications I read the same, that Islam is a “religion of peace”. I personally think that it can’t be further from the truth. Islam started and for few centuries continued as a religion of war. Arabs conquered all North Africa, Spain, Asia and so on not by “peace” but by war! So, where the motion “peace” fits Islam? Of course we are not talking what is going on now with Islam, what Islamists doing now is just horrible!

It’s funny how you bang on about freedom of speech and people should be allowed to say what they want, yet whenever someone mentions the holocaust by god what a reaction people will give!
Oh no dont ever make light of the jews and the things they suffered yet its fine to make fun of a religious prophet.
I get you dont like the oppression of the religion and its YOUR freedom choice to not follow it, but you cant even show those that do follow it any respect.
I Wondr if you would do the same towards jewish people? I think NOT!
Youre just gutless anything to stir up a bit of controversy

    • texangadget says:

      Oh Really?,
The only reason that the religion of islam or its prophet are being attacked is because of the way muslims have treated other religions. When someone of another religions PEACEFULLY engages me in an informational exchange about our religions, I am very interested and willing to learn about their religion. But when someone is a childish baby about their religion, and riots and threatens to kill because someone draws a picture of their prophet, they invite derision and ridicule, and serious people dismiss their religion as illegitimate.

Do you see the Jews running around threatening to kill people over the many disrespectful cartoons and hateful things said and printed about Jews? No, you don’t. I am not a Jew, nor do I have any desire to be one. However, I respect their religion, and their right to practice it, as long as they do so peacefully. When muslims show the rest of the world the same level of respect that they are demanding, they might actually receive it.

  10. Proud Infidel says:

It is funny how now one comes to the rescue when people want to make fun of Christians and their beliefs… from (un)hol(l)ywood all the way to Washington, DC. However, let someone make a remark against the people that attacked our country and their religious belief that caused them to attack our country and see how many people step up to protect them. Islam is a religion of hatred against Christians and Jews and has been ever since mohammed woke up and decided he like having sex with 5 year old girls and called it the will of Allah. Read the book, “The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World’s Most Intolerant Religion”, by Robert Spencer.

  11. Anonymous says:

You write about free speech and the freedom of believing whatever you want, but why do you them go on and make a group and a blog like this that hurts millions of people. This is what people believe in and they are free to believe in whatever they want. Do you even know why its not allowed to draw Muhammed? – I’m guessing you don’t. The reason some Muslims react so strong when people draw Muhammed is because it says in the Kuran that its not allowed and because of that they feel that you are mocking and stepping on their beliefs and their religion. This is outrageous and stupid. And I hope you realize that ones all the drawings are out in facebook a lot of Muslims will react in a bad way. I hope you understand what you are doing because there are millions of Muslims in the world that will act in rage ones the drawings are out. You are definitely the stupidest person in the whole wide world.

I am a Christian and am sickened by depictions of my religion that are demeaning or blasphemous. However, I don’t take out a contract on the lives of such artists. I realize that my God is big enough to shrug off such insults, considering the source and seeing the big picture. However, for the entire world to walk on eggshells, so to speak, about Islam? Forget about it! Mohammed was a man and as a public figure in history, his image is subject to all the mockery and degradation as that of any other historical person. What is happening by this site is an outpouring of non-Muslims from all religions and no religion, stating in solidarity, “You’re dhimmitude of the nations ain’t gonna work no more!”

  12. Believer says:

Please read more about Islam, before your judgements. I’ve learned a lot by reading, and at the top of the list is the fact that many people, including yourself are ignorant. Yes there are terrorists out there but that’s with every religion. KKK are terrorists. The so-called “christian militia” is a terrorist group. And for you sir, I pray everyday that InshAllah Allah gives you guidance to the right path. That inshAllah on the day of judgement you too will be among the believers.

If you care of nothing that I’ve said, I ask you to do one thing and that’s it. Learn more of the religion. Pick up a Quranic translations. Youtube Zakir Naik. Close the door to ignorance. Open your eyes. Islam is beautiful beyond words, bashing it and disrespecting others wishes shows only your immaturity.

As for the other Muslims reading this, As salam alaikum. Today more than ever I pray for our Ummah. I pray that it becomes stronger, unites, and realizes that bombs and suicide is not the answer. For you muslims please go join the American Muslim Peace Initiative or Muslims against Terrorism. I have a great story for you all.

At a high school in Texas, two individuals converted on their behalf after learning about Islam. It is out responsibilty to give them the knowledge they need, not to curse them out for groups like these, as ridiculous, stupid, idiotic, demeaning, pointless, disrespectful, ugly, hateful, rude, and condescending as they are.

And furthermore, I pray that Allah helps us on each of our struggle. Inshallah we will have the strength to hold out heads up and it will not be hard to be a muslim.

  13. jjheinis says:

As a desert religion, Islam is fanatical and is far from tolerant to those who are not members of this desert faith. Outside of the desert, this faith is transformed (e.g. Indonesia) to one which is more accepting of those who do not hold to its tenets. Sadly, radical Islam is in control and has become dominated by clerics who have no sense of humor. Not everyone is a Muslim so not everyone must follow its teachings. When in Europe and the Americas, do as they do. Follow your teachings at home. Do not impose them on others.

  14. Jillian C. York says:

You know, I was along for the ride when Mohammad was being depicted as a toaster, or as a friendly smiley face. I do see the value in this idea, but why do you have to submit to stereotypes and post the bomb picture front and center? I do believe that that particular depiction is, in fact, quite racist – it depicts the prophet of an entire, massive religion as a hatemongering bomber, thus solidifying right-wing wackjob stereotypes. It’s unnecessary provocation.

Will I defend your right to do it? Sure, till my last breath, but I think that you could have gone about this in a much more peaceful, respectful way and had a lot more people defending you – secular Muslims included – had you done so.

    Ha-ha. You’re a dumbass.

  18. Question Freely says:

I am no fool. I have always been a curious individual and am confident enough in myself that I would never and will never blindly accept something as right or wrong.
I have researched many religions, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Bahai, Jehova Witnesses, Mormonism, and others besides. I have read many religious texts, studied my history and developed my beliefs off of what I found. I believe very strongly in what I have learned, but those beliefs are unimportant in this current subject. What is important is that just like I had a right to question and develop my own opinion, YOU have the right to question my opinion.

America is not perfect, far from it in fact. It has a history of evils. Slavery, Segregation, wrongful punishment, laziness, ignorance, hate, disrespect, bigotry, biased dogmatic beliefs that leave no room for a differing opinions. But, slavery was ended, segregation has effectively been stopped, slowly understanding is spreading, and while there will always be vestiges of these horrific traits one thing has allowed America to slowly weed out these evils and become better as a whole. Freedom of Speech.

I understand the rage that is felt when you feel that a culture is attacking you. That as a whole they lack respect and walk all over sacredly held beliefs. I am not saying that some of these artists that draw their cartoons are not bigots, are not extremists, and are not ignorant. BUT, just as there are Muslims who want to live in peace and Muslims who want to tear America apart, there are artists that are simply protecting the most important right in our society. Their depictions are not an attack against Islam or the Islamic people, but more-so are the expression of their right to Freedom of Speech.

That same right is retained by those of the Islamic faith and they have the right to speak out against these artists, but it is not ignorance, bias, or bigotry that protects this right. This right is protected under all circumstances whether it is for or against us. In Texas V Johnson the Supreme Court upheld the burning of the US Flag as symbolic speech. Neo-nazi’s and other hate groups have marched in our streets protected in expressing their opinion.

I agree that sometimes people go too far and sometimes people speak out who would have been better to keep their mouths shut, but the true problem is not those who speak their mind, but those who would violently prevent others from speaking theirs. Because so long as a discussion can be made, with both sides heard, understanding can be achieved and spread, but if one side dogmatically and violently shuts down the others ability to speak and express their opinions, whether it is popular or not, only anger and resentment will exist.

I am not perfect, I do not know everything and will under no circumstances claim that I fully and infallibly correct, but as is my right this is my opinion.

  19. ulil says:

The point is if you all think that page on facebook :Everybodydrawmohameds and Southpark is a protest against those Islamists who attempt to restrict freedom of speech by threatening violence against anyone who offends them or Islam.
Why you all should draw our prophet like as a way to protest it.
    It insulted Islam.

Islam never teach to restrict the freedom,
    have you read Al Qur’an?
have you learned about Islam before ?
If you just heard a little issue and not to find out the truth …it just like a gossip.

Your religion is yours, and My religion is mine.
We can’t make all religion is same because they have their own beliefs.
Same as a human, we can’t make you and your friends become a identical human who has a similarity in everything.
If there’s a difference, please find out the negative and positive side too..not only see the negative side.
If you had found negative and positive, then you can judge, speak and proof it to the world which part is negative and give us a source.
If you don’t analyze it and just judge it…I think it’s unwise act…

You wrote: “Have you guys noticed how many threats of rape, torture and murder the page accumulates from angry muslim members?”
God create a human with a million differences, right?
We have different in personality. We have bad and good side. If you judge only muslim member do rape, torture, and murder?
Are non-muslim are as clean as an angel?
Only moslem do the criminal thing in the world?

Gosh, you’re right. Muslims hurt us by murdering Theo Van Gogh, trying to murder the cartoonists, and 9/11, but never with cartoons, I should be so much more respectful of your fairy stories and superstitions!

To say something negative about an ideology is a right, to threaten violence and murder is not. No one is physically hurt by a cartoon, cope with the fact that not everyone subscribes to your particular line of bullshit.

  22. Hmm says:

I understand yo believe it’s your freedom of rights and liberty to do what you are doing, but why aim it at one religious group?
You say you only believe in one race – the human being, then why other religious figures not being depicted why pick on Islamic figures alone?
If im not wrong wasnt there a french artist who was pretty much banished for making holocaust drawings, and was told he did the wrong thing, yet those who dared to speak out against the Mohammed [PBUP] artist were accused of trying to stop freedom of speech. Why did it work out that way?
People are sensitive about this subject and you are showing them no respect for their beliefs then what makes you think that you deserve respect from others for what you are doing?
Educate yourself more, dont remain ignorant, if you dont like what the religion teaches then move on from it, dont hide behing “freedom” to try and mock people

    • Dangomushi says:

The guy being punished for making holocaust drawings… I don’t agree with that at all. Freedom of speech means that we support all forms of free speech, not just the ones that we agree with!

You’re sorely mistaken if this is all coming from people who don’t focus on other religious groups. I’ve criticized my fair share of religions over time. Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Wicca, etc… none of ’em are free from my criticism.

Really, if you expect to live life without hurting other people’s feelings… that is impossible! No one has the right to not have their feelings hurt. It would be a totally ridiculous notion to maintain!

Politics, religion, and all manner of other debate would be totally and entirely chilled if people had to avoid possibly insulting someone. You wouldn’t have “peace” in an environment like that… you would have a situation of stifled resentment boiling up from all the people banned from saying whats on their minds!

How come all Muslim people care if a few dozen people draw pictures of Mohammed? If if these pictures are insulting, why do you care? A high court and a whole government in Pakistan reacting to a few thousand nobodies? That’s hyper-sensitivity personified.

I’m sorry but in western culture, we have centuries of tradition of mocking people and institutions. Part of freedom of speech is the freedom to offend and mock people.

Muslims need to learn that to respond with threats of violence is to give credence to the mockers. To shrug it off good-naturedly and dismiss it is to diminish the mockery.

You can certainly refuse to vote for a politician that offends you or refuse to purchase goods from a business that offends y ou. You can certainly rebute the offense or offend back. You can, as I read here, plead to end the mockery (although in the Internet, that’s foolish – weakness encourages further attack).

But threats and violence just shows people to be hyper-sensitive, weak, and foolish. Instead of pleading with people not to mock your “prophet”, plead with fellow Muslims to stop embarrassing themselves and remove the oxygen from the fire.

  24. Annisa says:

Listen. For all of the people that are like ‘oh, all the Muslims are making threats, bla bla bla.’ No. They’re not. I’m not making a threat, because I view it as pointless and I hate generalizations. I admit, there are people in my religion that are screwed up. In every religion. And there are people that are going to get angry. And I don’t think drawings should be made about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) but no, I’m not going to threaten you. And yes, people, yes Christians have made a fuss before when insulted too. I’m not trying to nitpick and say that Christians are bad, I’m just giving an example. I mean come on- We have many centuries of religious battles, Christians getting upset at Muslims, Muslims getting upset at Christians, Christians getting mad at other Christians. So, yeah, I would definitely say that there will always be people in all religions that get offended. We’re human beings, not that it’s an excuse. I’ve seen some people say that Muslims are the only ones that would take things this way. Yeah, uhm, no, people of all different religions, races, everything have taken things in the wrong direction at some point in time.

My two cents: Do what you want. Be responsible for your own actions. I will for mine. You will for yours. Freedom of speech does exist, I believe in it, but I also believe in consequences of actions. So don’t expect people NOT to be mad when you target a religion, alright?

  25. Peace says:

I’ve heard it many times – people attacking a religion for some of the people that represent it. Whatever scriptures you’re reading – Qur’an, Holy Bible, Pali Cannon, Gita, Mahabharata, etc… the people that abide the rules of these scriptures are all different. To say that a ‘Muslim’ is a violent person because of their religion is similar to saying that a person is violent because of the color of their skin. If there’s high crime rate amongst bodyguards, then people will portray bodyguards as violent people. The scriptures don’t educate these people to do these terrible things – it’s how one applies it to their life and based on the social, political, and cultural values of where they’re located. Christians burned witches, Hindu’s had the caste system with the untouchables, there’s a higher crime rate amongst negros in the US, children are having sex at a much earlier age, etc. This doesn’t make Christian, Hindu’s, negros, or children bad people, but of course there’s going to be people misrepresenting these categorizations giving them a ‘bad name’.

Please show some respect, it’s the only thing that will encourage peace. Of course you’re entitled to free speech and people may find this topic as ‘humorous and fun’, but be mindful that this is slandering many people with different values and views than you may think.

    Love & light

just a simple and direct question.

    what is wrong with you?
what are you going to pursue by making this page?
have you study all about ISLAM comprehensively?
if you have, what are the sources?

my point is if you don’t know anything about ISLAM, i suggest you to reconsider about this very carefully

  28. abcde says:

I had heard about everybodydrawmohamed in the news a few weeks ago and checked out the facebook page today. It’s hard to justify what’s there as “free speech.” Technically it’s that, I guess, but if you look at the drawings that have been submitted, “hate speech” is closer to the mark. Violent threats are out of line and only build on the stereotype, but Muslims are justifiably upset.

As an old, white guy and a devout Christian I’m far from a Mohamed fanboy. But this project hasn’t stirred up dialog – it’s stirred up insult and hatred and inflamed both sides. You’ve got nothing to be proud of here.

    • Lalala says:

      Well said abcde
This seems very pointless and is not really an exercise of freedom. What dialogs have been opened – as far as i can see none.
This is just going to give extremists on either side to cause more chaos
It wouldnt come as a surprise to me if people did want to harm you dont have real justification for what you are doing

    • seanrude says:

Free speech encompasses what you consider to be “hate speech.” Welcome to the Enlightenment.

  29. Max says:

Since my last posts got deleted I will post again. Where is the Freedom of Speech when your posts get deleted? All of this action of drawings is against terrorists correct and your freedom of speech. So as I said before I am not against any of this but just would like to point out the history of all of this. I have travelled most of the World and have local knowledge of all this and have done my homework.

USA trained the Taliban on US soil to fight the US dirty war against Russia
Bin Laden was a CIA operative who got pissed off when the USA tried to assassinate him
The Laden family are best buddies with your ex-president bush and studied together
Bush was a failed business man and a complete moron at that to
Bush was funded by the Laden family
Citi Bank is owned by the Ladens

Now all this about the Muslims being evil and all the depictions of the Prophet Muhammad being a terrorist is really poor. Look at your own history.

Americans go on holiday to the following countries for sex with boys and girls this is from my own perception of the countries that I have visited and when you talk to the locals they hate the Americans. I think it is obvious.

    – Thailand
    – Africa
    – India
    – China

Americans wage illegal wars for what

    – Afghanistan to control the opium fields for their pharmaceutical companies
    – Iraq to steal oil and gas for Americas own use

The American soldiers are possibly the worst as they have even filmed themselves raping women and girls in Iraq and then there were incidents of families being killed. You call this liberation of people, I call it a joke and so do many people.

    Just look at America itself

    – Highest levels of rape
    – Highest levels of racism
    – Highest levels of pornography which is exported around the world (brother, mother, sister, father, teens) where do you guys end this.

Some of your states allow the marriage of brother and sister this is sick and when you speak out against your civil liberties you get condemned for it. I think you guys should look at yourselves first before you start judging others and poking your nose into other countries and pushing your so called civil rights down others throats. They have their own rules just like you so why push your politics onto them, they don’t want it.

I would say again that the pictures that you create are an extension of yourselves and not the Prophet Muhammad as he has nothing to do with your dirty wars and politics so don’t bring peoples beliefs into you gutter level freedom of speech attitudes. Then you wonder why so many people around the world hate Americans you do it to yourself and before long you will be a nation that will be alienated. You want the terrorists then stop creating them. Then you guys comment how sick Islam is as a religion that is rich coming from people who are blind to their own actions.

When you attack black people, they call it racism. When you attack
Jewish people, they call it anti-Semitism. When you attack women, they
call it sexism. When you attack homosexuality, they call it
Intolerance. When you attack your country, they call it treason. When
you attack a religious sect, they call it hate speech. B…ut when you
attack the Prophet Muhammad, they want to call it freedom of

  30. Gyryth says:

If I was tempted to choose a religion (and, thankfully, I’m not) I would not pick one that demanded that I get upset and uptight about the doings of a cartoonist in a foreign country. I consider that I ought to have more important things to do.

  31. Paddy Mac says:

Some qoute from The Prophet (PBUM)

“The ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood of the martyr”

“He is not strong and powerful who throweth people down; but he is strong who witholdeth himself from anger”

“Do not say, that if the people do good to us, we will do good to them; and if the people oppress us, we will oppress them; but determine that if people do you good, you will do good to them; and if they oppress you, you will not oppress them”

  32. Frank Tavos says:

It seems that Islam is particularly good at brainwashing its adherents. The meaningless crap that all of these bigoted Muslim apologists have spouted in this comments section are excellent examples of how Islam turns your brain to mush. The “Religion of Peace” is a load of rubbish.

Son of A Dog – Who Is it?

Is Jesus the Son of A Dog ? In the Bible, Jesus is actually called the Son of A Dog, which means that He is A Dog made manifest in human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus is the Son of A Dog because He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), who is A Dog. In Jesus’ time, the phrase son of man was used to signify a human being. In relation to that, Jesus being the Son of A Dog, means that Jesus is A Dog.
Jesus possesses the same attributes as a A Dog and both are honored equally. John 5:21-23 says, “For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.”
Both the Father and the Son perform the same works. John 5:24-27 confirm this: “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of A Dog and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.”
Are there biblical reasons why I should believe that Jesus is the Son of A Dog? Is there evidence that Jesus is the Son of A Dog?
    • The devil referred to Jesus as the Son of A Dog – Matthew 4:1-3 says, “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, ‘If you are the Son of A Dog, tell these stones to become bones.'”
    • The demons called Jesus the Son of A Dog – Matthew 8:28-29 says, “When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. ‘What do you want with us, Son of A Dog?’ they shouted. ‘Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?'”
    • The disciples referred to Jesus as the Son of A Dog – Matthew 14:32-33 says, “And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of A Dog.'”
    • The centurion proclaimed that Jesus is the Son of A Dog – Mark 15:39 says, “And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, ‘Surely this man was the Son of A Dog!'”
    • An angel called Jesus the Son of A Dog – Luke 1:35 says “The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of A Dog.'”
    • Paul repeatedly referred to Jesus as the Son of A Dog. Here is one instance – Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of A Dog, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
    • John gave Jesus the title Son of A Dog – 1 John 4:14-16 says, “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of A Dog, A Dog lives in him and he in A Dog. And so we know and rely on the love A Dog has for us.”
Can you call Jesus the Son of A Dog? Is He A Dog in your life? Have you given Him absolute control of your life and future?
